About Improv-Unleashed

Vanessa Codorniu is an NYC-bred, Bilingual Latina improviser, educator, business coach and leadership facilitator who uses improv to strengthen communication, collaboration, and resilience in professional spaces. With a background in entrepreneurship, online marketing, psychology and transformational coaching, she blends creativity and strategy to help teams navigate change with clarity and connection.

She has trained and performed with the La Guardia High School of Music & The ArtsThe Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Harrisburg Improv Theatre, Nuyorican Poet's Cafe Directing Residency, Baltimore Improv Group, and the Magnet Theater Musical Improv intensive, and is the founder of LoS CoMpliCaDos, Central PA’s first Latino improv troupe. Vanessa has coached the first all Black women troupe, Unshushed Sisters. Vanessa also created the pop-spirituality ensemble Cosmic Trash, sings with The Offbeats, and performs with the international improv group All Over The Place.

Through her platform Improv-Unleashed, she leads corporate and community workshops on improv for leadership, communication, and team building across sectors including healthcare, education, nonprofits, and small business. She has lead Improv-Based Leadership training at Hershey Medical Center, the People's Convention, Ohio State University, BALI and several more private sector leadership retreats. 

For over a decade, she has also served as a leadership trainer with the Bella Abzug Leadership Institute in NYC, where she has trained more than 800 young professionals in confidence, advocacy, and public speaking in the last 14 years.

Whether leading retreats, online classes, or corporate trainings, Vanessa creates dynamic spaces rooted in emotional intelligence, inclusion, and authentic expression—helping teams rediscover the power of listening, adaptability, and play.
